The Image Star Story

Since 1992, Image Star has been committed to delivering high quality, low cost distribution services to independent dealers in the office technology industry. From our start in Connecticut, we have grown and expanded our nationwide footprint. Now with two distribution centers reaching 80%+ of the United States with 1-2 day ground shipping, Image Star is a top choice distribution partner from coast to coast.

We started off selling printer ink and toner, and our assortment has expanded to become one of the most comprehensive in the industry. We carry all OEM lines as well as our own proprietary compatible and remanufactured brands. Hyperion is now one of the best known and best regarded compatible supply lines in the document imaging industry.

While print and copy supplies remain a core strength, we have added new product categories to better support our dealers as a single source for products and services across the full workplace IT environment. Today, our catalogue includes computers and peripherals, A/V equipment, scanners, document management software, printers, and MFPs. Our authorized distribution partnerships with household names like Xerox and Dynabook alongside cutting edge innovators like Kandao and Innocn offers breadth and choice to IT channel resellers.
